My friend Ashley van Tol, the creator of the Lymenaide Holiday Bazaar, has Lyme disease. She has invited Ginger and Lace to be participate and to promote our Lyme awareness items. I have taken my battle with Lyme disease and make lemons from it! When I became disabled by Lyme disease in 2004, at the age of thirty, I was forced to quit my job as a flight attendant for United Airlines, sell my home, and somehow find new meaning in life as I sought to heal myself.

My journey led me into medical research, and subsequently, to author two Lyme disease books that were published in 2008 and 2009 (see above). In late November/early December, I will be publishing another work, based on my intense eight-year walk with God, entitled: Healing Chronic Illness: By His Spirit, Through His Resources. This book proposes that God can and is willing to heal people supernaturally by His Spirit, when medicine fails to provide a full recovery. It also describes different ways in which He heals the body, soul and spirit, and teaches others how to embrace His love. It is based on the teachings of Jesus Christ and is hence written from a Christian perspective (although I believe that people of all faiths will be able to relate to it).

Finally, I am also shifting my research into other areas of medicine, and am currently writing a book on cancer, which may also be of interest to those with Lyme.

Prior to becoming a medical writer, I owned a small sterling silver jewelry business, called New Creation Designs. I still sell handmade, 1.5 and 2.5 inch sterling silver cross pendants from this business, which I advertise here. They are made from .925 silver from Taxco, Mexico. Because I no longer have chains for the pendants, the price of the pendants has been reduced to $20.00 and $30.00, respectively (including shipping and handling). For those wishing to purchase a pendant, I will donate half of the proceeds (approximately 9-15$ per pendant) to designated lyme patients in need.

Lyme Disease has affected three generations of my immediate family. My husband was diagnosed with Lyme and several co-infections after being infected 30 years ago. I was infected in my 20's. Both of our children were infected during pregnancy. Recently, my mother-in-law was also diagnosed.

Over the last few years, I have been working to get the truth out about what Lyme disease is really like: how it affects our health, outlook on life, and how it interferes with relationships with our family and friends. Most importantly, I want people become more aware of Lyme Disease because there is a lack of medical information to. I was diagnosed with Lyme Disease 1 year ago after years of health struggles. I believe I contracted Lyme the first time over 20 years ago, after attending a summer camp when I was 8 years old. I struggle with increasingly troublesome health issues through my childhood, adolescence, and as a young adult. My second infection happened 4 years ago, which also went untreated and undiagnosed. After finally receiving a proper diagnosis, I started a combination treatment of antibiotics and botanical medicines, and have already seen great improvements. I have been using my experience to raise awareness about Lyme and natural healing, sharing gluten-free, allergy-friendly recipes as well as tips for healthy living, Lyme information, and other sustainable lifestyle tips on my blog Affairs of Living. I hope to continue empowering others to take control of their health and find ways to live well, despite struggles with health conditions. Before Purchasing your virtual booth be sure to read the terms and conditions on the Join page- http://lymenaideholidaybazaar.blogspot.com/p/join.html

We recommend that you have your booth designed and ready to submit before purchasing your booth in the Lymenaide Holiday Bazaar. You must use one of the templates we have created for your photos and your description must be under 150 words. Please provide valid links to be included in your booth. Follow this link to the booth templates.

Send your completed photo template, descriptions and links to ashvantol@lymenaide.com. Your booth will go live within a few days of your approved payment.

If you are using our graphic design and/or writing services you must pay all fees upfront. There is no refund on service fees. Learn more on the Join Page.

You may request a refund on your booth fee if you decide not to participate with in 7 days of posting. A small administration fee will be charged, $2.

Payments are made in the form of donations to Lymenaide. Use the PayPal button below to complete your booth purchase.
