String Bean Studios - Vintage and Nature Inspired Jewelry

All of the jewelry from String Bean Studios is hand crafted by ME. My vintage and nature inspired jewelry features mixed metals, pearls, shells, and and occasional crystal.  These materials allow me express my love for nature and utilize the bright, bold colors that I love so much. I find inspiration for my jewelry designs in the changing seasons, my garden, beautiful colors, unique materials, and jewelry trends.

I began my love affair with jewelry making just before my own wedding when I decided to make my own jewelry.  I've been hooked ever since and have been making and selling jewelry for almost three years now.  One of the hidden blessings of living with Lyme Disease is that I finally have enough free time in my life to really nurture and express my creative self.  I am truly grateful for this gift.  The money that I earn from String Bean Studios helps me to pay for Dr. visits and medications.  Your support is greatly appreciated.

With String Bean Studios you’ll find an assortment of jewelry perfect for weddings, prom, a night on the town, and everyday wear as well as great gift items, including Lyme Awareness items.  I work hard to create jewelry that looks professional at prices you'll be willing to pay.

I'm always happy to make custom jewelry for weddings, gifts, or just because. Feel free to contact me with your ideas for the perfect piece of jewelry so you can decorate yourself or a loved one.

I am amazed by all the things I have discovered that I can do since I was diagnosed with Lyme. I'm talking about big things I never knew I was capable of in my previous "healthy" life.

Thanks for sharing with us Keri!

Keri and I actually only live a few miles apart and we see each other on a regular basis, her jewelry is beautiful! Keri is actually the person who taught me to make jewelry. THANK YOU!!!

While I don't have Lyme like Keri and Ashley, I do suffer from chronic Crohns Disease, which is why I too work from home making jewellery. I feel like I can still do something constructive and am still able to earn some money, despite my health issues. Keri's jewellery is lovely. I have shared this link on my facebook page. My email is tizdesigns@hotmail.co.uk

You do beautiful work. I love to cook, since I can't eat a lot of foods (which is typical of Lymies) I have learned to cook well with what I can eat. froglover21778@yahoo.com Keep up the good work. (HUGS) ~Ash~

I feel inspired reading aboutthe determination to do what you can, not what you can't.
Obviously you CAN make gorgeous jewelry!
I would give this to my daughter.

beautiful jewelry Keri,

What I have found is that I was able to start a ladies craft group for other isolated women, when I am agoraphobic. it scares me to death but it's also satisfying.

You have truly turned your talent into lymenaide. I am impressed! I hope that when I get a handle on my Lyme and various lyme-induced conditions I can begin contributing as well. Be proud of your work it makes others happy. Tina (sleepygirl76063@gmail.com) MisplacedTina - twitter

Beautiful necklace Keri and in fact you have created so many beautiful pieces.

What can I still do although having Lyme.....I can still walk though only for short distances and 10-15 minutes.....I can still spend time on Facebook with my Lyme friends.

I bought a couple of great pairs of earrings from Keri. They are fantastic and I have gotten several compliments on them too! Keri was also very quick in sending them to me. All around, a great experience.
Thanks Keri!

That is such a beautiful necklace! I don't suffer from Lyme, but deal with severe IC.
I'm now following GFC.
